The Story
The Global Indie Awards are the first major music awards decided entirely by performance data and fan votes — no judging panel, no industry politics. Seventeen categories honor independent artists across every genre, from hip-hop to gospel, Afrobeat to southern soul, plus a dedicated Fan Choice Award voted entirely by fans.
The inaugural ceremony takes place August 15, 2027, in Atlanta, GA, streaming live and exclusive on IND TV (Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Google TV, Android TV, Apple TV).
